Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn

Director's notes:

"Who needs friends like Susannah and Trevor?

They have relationship problems, which need to be discussed, at length, and what better time to involve friends and family than the middle of the night?  Of course, one relationship problem tends to spark off others with hilarious results, and nobody gets much sleep.

This delightful comedy is full of the usual Ayckbourn comic wizardry and insight into our daily lives, which we can’t fail to recognise.

“Bedroom Farce” was first produced at the Library Theatre, Scarborough, in June 1975 and subsequently at the National Theatre, London in March 1977.

Mark Waters, Director

"Let's be really, really wicked.  Let's eat them in bed ..."
